And then she said, "Yes!" and so we got married and I finished some major and minor degrees at Arizona State University in Anthropology, Education, Psychology and Sociology and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Reading. During my Master's classes I taught 5th grade for a couple of years when Benjamin and Lisa were born. We were off to Heber were I was the School Principal and District Superintendent and Business Manager. We moved back to Mesa to teach Seminary at Westwood High School and to have Samuel and Lori. In Flagstaff we had Launa and I taught Seminary at Flagstaff High School and Institute at Northern Arizona University for one year to get a Doctor's Degree in Administration and Leadership. We were then off to Cincinnati for eleven years working with Seminary and Institute in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio and no more babies. Mesa was our next destination and more teaching and then to the Navajo Reservation for one year and back to Mesa for only one year before going to Thatcher for nine years where Launa attended her 4th high school and graduated from Thatcher High School and I taught Institute at Eastern Arizona College. Back to Mesa and a three year service in administration and travel all over Arizona and New Mexico. After only 37 wonderful years as an educator we retired and cared for Pa who suffered with Alzheimer's and passed away on our 41st wedding anniversary.
